deprem.info is a free and independent information site that lists earthquake records published openly by AFAD, the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Türkiye. The site is not an official body, has no connection with AFAD and does not make statements on AFAD’s behalf.
2. Accuracy of information
The information on the site is for general information purposes only. Records are shown as published at the source; however, delays, omissions or errors may occur during import, and AFAD may later change the values it first published. Therefore, the information on the site is not guaranteed to be complete, accurate or up to date.
- The site is not an early warning, earthquake prediction or emergency notification service.
- For decisions concerning the safety of life and property, rely only on statements from official authorities.
- In an emergency in Turkey, call the 112 Emergency Call Center.
3. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, deprem.info cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from decisions made based on the information on the site, temporary unavailability of the site, delays or errors in the data, or the content of linked third-party sites.
4. Intellectual property
The site’s design, software, logo, images and original texts belong to deprem.info and may not be copied, reproduced or used for commercial purposes without permission. The source of the earthquake records is AFAD; we kindly ask you to cite the source when using this data.
You are free to link to our pages and to share an earthquake’s page on social media or messaging apps.
5. Rules of use
When using the site, you agree not to:
- attempt to disrupt the site’s operation, overload its servers or bypass its security measures,
- collect data automatically in breach of the robots.txt rules or at an unreasonable frequency,
- republish the site’s content in a misleading way, as if it were affiliated with deprem.info or an official source.
Search engines and crawlers that follow the robots.txt rules may index the site. If you need bulk data, we recommend using AFAD’s sources directly.
6. Third-party services and advertising
Ads served by Google may be shown on the site, and the site uses third-party services such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Cloudflare. How these services process personal data is explained in the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy. Advertisers are responsible for the products and services in their ads.
The share buttons open the page of the relevant platform (WhatsApp, X, Facebook, Telegram); the terms of those platforms apply when you use them.
